Deep Tissue Massage
This massage is used to treat chronic muscle tension through slow strokes and direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles not with the grain. Deep tissue massage helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue. It is an excellent massage to help get rid of deep rooted knots especially in the neck and shoulders. It may cause some soreness during or right after the massage, however, you should feel better than ever with a day or two.
